Abstract

Health is an important issue in terms of quality of life. The subject of women¢¥s health especially reproductive health has been regarded as an important health issue. Women, particularly mother, has been the key to the provision of health services for a family, yet they have been both neglected and exploited by health services traditionally geared to serve men and children because of their social status. Women¢¥s concern about their health throughout life differ from that of men¢¥s, and women face different threats. Thus emphasis should ¢¥be on the diversity of women¢¥s experience of a particular lifecycle stages. This article is going to explore lifecycle perspectives of women¢¥s health, which is based on health promotion concepts.
